Some are returning and others are joining our cast for the first time, but all have the passion and ability to astound! Our cast is star-studded with breathtaking talents. They are led and directed by the renowned music director Carlton Gupton.

Johnyce Jackson
As Mary
Jodhi was born raised on the Westside of Detroit MI. She started singing at just 2 years old. She began her musical theater journey with Big Stars Youth Theater and has gone on performing on many stages around Michigan and other states. She tours and sings BVGs for many of the gospel greats such as Karen Clark Sheard and more. She is an independent R&B artist using the gifts God gave her to impact hearts everywhere.
Sherrie Nunn Berry
As Elizabeth
A Detroit native, Sherrie is known for her rousing gospel selections and is one of Detroit's leading Sopranos. A powerhouse singer, she is a member of the legendary Thomas Whitfield Company. "Sherrie" was chosen because of her spirit filled conviction that touches the heart of the listener. Collaborations include "Dwell In The House", "Through It All", She is also a member of Gospel Music Workshop of America and the Detroit Chapter is recognized as one of the best.
Carlton Jones
As Rap Angel
Carlton is talented writer and lyricist who carries a mix of Michigan and Tennessee roots in his rap and hip-hop music. He graduated from the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University in 2020 and has began his career as a producer, music manager, and artist. His company, M.A.M. Music Productions, short for Motivation, Attitude, and Mindset, is founded on his passion of telling his life story in hopes that others find pride and passion in theirs.
David Whitfield &

David Whitfield is a Gospel Recording Artist and American Music Award winner. The Detroit-based Minister of Music and been in ministry for over 40 years. His vision and goal is to create an atmosphere where people can come and praise the Lord.
Caleb Merritt
As Gabriel
Caleb Merritt was born on the Eastside of Detroit Michigan. The first genre of music to ever grace his ears was Gospel, as he started off singing with his family and church. Later he became an eclectic galling in love with all styles of music, with Gospel, Jazz, and Soul being his three biggest loves. In 2012 he released his first album in which he sang the Gershwin songbook by George and Ira Gershwin. The year 2013 marked his first nomination at the Detroit Black Music Awards for Best Jazz Vocalist of the year, and for three years consecutively he was nominated. Winning the award in 2015.
Re'Monda
As Welcoming Angel
Elegant, smooth, rich and soulful are words often used to describe renowned vocalist Re’Monda. At a young age, the Detroit native began her musical journey under the tutelage of Motown’s legend; Earl Van Dyke and gospel great Rudolph Hawkins. Re’Monda is a product of rich musical heritage gained by studying and performing with some of the best musical talents both locally and around the country.
Theresa Megan
As Opera Angel
This is Theresa Megan’s 2nd Year with Angels In The Wings. An experienced musical and choir director, she is a highly sought-after singer performing across the country at a variety of venues and genres. Theresa has vocal range that surpasses many. A faithful member of Fellowship Baptist Church under the direction of Rev. Dr. Wendell Anthony.

The CG Experience is a jazz fusion band. This band is a collective of professional musicians from different backgrounds that come together to create an unforgettable musical encounter! Experienced genres of music include Jazz, R&B, Inspirational, Gospel, and Soul.

Duane Parham
Saxophonist Duane Parham is a composer, producer, songwriter and top performer in Smooth Jazz, R&B and Gospel Music. Duane was born and raised in Detroit, MI. He is founder and chief executive officer of Educational Arts Society, a nonprofit that give instruments and music lessons to under-privileged children.
